Local heritage book of Wostitz
Wostitz is a town in Southern Moravia, since 1918 named Vlasatice, located in Brno–venkov (Brno District), Jihomoravský kraj (Southern Moravian Region) in the Czech Republic.
Wostitz belonged to the county of Nikolsburg (Mikulov) until 1945.
The database with about 83,000 individuals and 30000 families is based on the catholic church records of Wostitz, from 1631 until 1935, comprising the parish of Wostitz (Vlasatice) with the villages Mariahilf (Nová Ves, also Nová Ves u Oslavan) and Weisstätten (Pasohlávky). The church records were recently scanned by the Moravian State Archiv Brno and published on the internet at ACTAPUBLICA.eu .
The file also contains names and information of individuals from surrounding villages, such as Malspitz (Malesovice), Odrowitz (Odrovice), Urspitz (Crvcovice), Treskowitz (Troskotovice), Lodenitz (Lodenice), Bergen (Perna), Dürnholz (Drnholec), Kanitz (Dolni Kounice), Urhau (Orechov) and Serowitz (Syrovice) all in South Moravia.
